The Sunrise Collective is a coming together of so many elements in one place to give you the most incredible start to your day.

In order to live well, one of the most important things we can do for ourselves is to start our day off on purpose - meaning, no emails, social media, or devices. Instead choosing to get outside, move, breathe, see the sunrise, connect with other people, laugh, smile, and for those who want to join us, to dunk ourselves into the bay. Join us each Friday at Elwood Beach.

FREE - Each Week at 6am @ Elwood Beach

Please sign up via link below, details will be sent each Thursday afternoon.

Conscious Conversations Live

EDM+Header+Artworks+(3) (1).png

We are so excited to announce that our LIVE, IN-PERSON event is coming to Melbourne in March.

This will be an incredible day featuring real, raw and honest conversations, thought-provoking guest speakers and much more. Join us for two inspiring discussion panels on topics that matter to you, a breath-work workshop with one of Australia’s leading instructors, a meditative sound bath, raw and honest conversation and real, live human connection. So, what are you waiting for?

Please note: Making this event COVID safe for you all is our number one priority. Over the coming weeks, we will continue to follow VIC guidelines and regulations to ensure our event is Covid safe for our community.

PANEL 1: UNAPOLEGTICALLY YOU with Melissa Griffiths of the Transgender Authority and Body Builder & Athlete Vanessa Calafiore.

ONE.png

It’s likely we will always be too much of something for someone else - too loud, too shy, too big, too soft, too edgy, too bland... In a world where fear and criticism is rampant, alongside a bombardment of external societal and cultural expectations, choosing to own your life, having the courage to reveal who you really are, embracing your vulnerabilities without guilt or shame is not the easy road. But in owning both our strengths and our weaknesses, our dreams, fears and all the weird pieces of us inbetween, that’s where the real courage lies.

In this extraordinary LIVE panel discussion, Melissa and Vanessa will discuss their own inspiring journeys to self-acceptance and explore what it takes to truly be UNAPOLOGETICALLY YOU.

Are you ready to show the world your authentic self?

PANEL 2: MAKING AN IMPACT with leader and builder of the Smiling Mind app Lucy Richards, Associate Director at PwC Australia and Former Acting CEO of The Reach Foundation Sasha Lawrence, and CEO and Co-Founder of Project RockIt, Rosie Thomas.

TWO.png

Creating a social movement where real change occurs is no easy task. So many of us have a vision to create great positive change, whether it be in our own lives, or in the lives of others, but how can you turn that dream into a reality?

With strong purpose and determination, we will hear from some of the greatest changemakers in our country, all of whom are having and making a significant impact on our world and wellbeing. Learn how they took the leap of faith to pursue their vision of influencing positive change and continue daily to find the motivation and enthusiasm to keep their dream alive.

In this extraordinary LIVE panel discussion, Lucy, Sasha and Rosie will discuss the incredible work they do, and explore what it means to really MAKE AN IMPACT!

BREATHWORK WORKSHOP: DONT THINK, FEEL with the one and only Mark Kluwer

THREE.png

Over the last few generations, our breathing has become increasingly shallow. Our lifestyles are fast, our jobs are stressful, and the pressure we place on ourselves can be wildly overwhelming. This continuous underlying anxiety causes us to constrict our breathing, but if we want to give our health and lives the best chance of thriving, we genuinely need to start paying attention to our breath.

During this incredible half-hour breathwork session, Mark will guide you through an experience designed to slow you down and lift you up all through this simple yet profound tool we have access to, wherever we go, whenever we need - the breath.

SOUND BATH: IMMERSIVE SOUND EXPERIENCE with Mona Ruijs

FOUR.jpg

Close your eyes and open your ears as we journey into sound and the senses. Using gongs, quartz crystal bowls, singing bowls and various other sound tools that are designed to induce states of physical relaxation, meditation and altered states of awareness, Mona will lead us through a sound immersive experience like none you've ever felt before.

You will be saturated and cocooned in the live sounds as you enter inside the wonderful world of the sound bath. An opportunity for you to lay, listen deeply with your whole body and go inwards. This unique composition of frequencies and harmonics produces a soundscape that washes over you, with the intention to release bodily tension and produce a relaxation response lowering stress, cortisol and adrenaline levels.

Are you ready to float away as the power of sound helps to bring you a little more balance, relaxation, and sense of well-being to your mind, body, and spirit?

BIRTHDAY COMMUNITY MEDITATION

Connection with myself, with others, and with the world around me is what lights me up, fills my cup, makes me feel at my happiest and most at home in myself. When I feel connected, I feel in flow. Things feel spacious, easy, free.

The key way I find this connection in my own life...? Meditation. It's been a game-changer for me.

If you know me well, you’ll know how much I credit both the practice and my teachers for the monumental shifts that have taken place for me over the past decade. It has been, and continues to be an instrumental part of my journey to this point. Quite frankly it has changed my life.

On my birthday this year, I would love nothing more than for you to join me for a free community meditation via Zoom where we create that time and space to drop in, connect and be together.

WHEN: Wednesday 22nd April, 12.00pm - 12.45pm

The Power of Prana @ Grass Roots Yoga

Power of Prana - Yoga Workshop - Grass Roots Yoga - St. Kilda Victoria

THE POWER OF PRANA

For thousands of years yogis have believed that human beings as well as all that surrounds us, are governed by a vital force or energy called prana. Although unseen, it is nonetheless the source or essence of all manifestation and thought to be what causes the planets to rotate, our brains to think and our hearts to beat.

The original creative power, and basic life force – It is the master form of all energy working at every level of our being. For us humans, the strength and flow of the energy body through movement, breath and the mind is essential for us to reach our truest potential.

Join Aisling for an empowering afternoon where we learn and embody prana, through pranayama, mantra, meditation and a nourishing flow practice in order to connect you more fully to the energy body, and that potential that comes with it. We will finish this afternoon with a yoga nidra practice to further journey through the energy body, accessing your own innate power and limitless capacity.

On Purpose. Unleash Your Potential Through The Mind-Body Connection.

On Purpose - Womens Networking - Connection - Conscious Conversations - Victoria

ON PURPOSE.

Unleash Your Potential Through The Mind-Body Connection.

For centuries, the connection between mental and physical health has been explored in-depth, and in recent years research has finally confirmed what many have instinctively felt to be true. That the beliefs we hold about ourselves and the world, our emotions, our memories, and our habits all influence mental and physical health.

This means that as complex human beings when we set out to be the very best version of ourselves, unfortunately, it's not a one-focus solution. All of these factors must be considered. The good news? When we can truly understand each, and how to consciously make them work for us rather than against us through living our lives On Purpose, we can really begin to tap into our fullest potential.

Join us for an insightful, inspiring and connection-filled evening where we will hear from experts - Dr Jen Barham-Floreani (Author/Chiropractor), Jennifer McCormack (Kinesiologist/Business Coach) and Shelly McKenzie (Nutritionist/Naturopath). These impressive ladies will be exploring how we use the Mind-Body Connection to create a life for ourselves where we are peaking mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally. Our aim is for you to leave with a renewed sense of clarity and purpose, empowered with actionable tools to elevate your health, career and life purpose so that you can be of service in this world. Whether that is in life or in the work you do.

About Our Speakers

Dr. Jen Barham-Floreani

Doctor Jen Barham-Floreani is a best-selling, award-winning author and chiropractor. Her book “Well Adjusted Babies"  has sold over half a million copies worldwide. As a mother of four boys, Jen truly shows us what it means to 'walk your talk' and has become an authentic guide for people wanting to define their own health culture. Through her writing and international talks, she is actively changing the way people perceive the chiropractic industry around the world. Her message tells us how we can take our purpose to the next level, and realize the incredible connection between our mind and body to reach our best health vision.

Dr. Jen will also share with us her ideas of thinking of a collective, setting goals for humanity, as well as crafting our authentic message with your purpose and passion.

Jennifer McCormack

Our mindset is the foundation of everything we perceive in the world. Jennifer McCormack, Kinesiologist and Personal Development Coach teaches us how we can find alignment with our business and life goals. She gives us guidance on how to be conscious of any lingering blockages that may be preventing us moving forward, and gives us tools on how to kick start goals, dreams, businesses or experiences we have been too afraid to embark on.

Shelly McKenzie

We all know our health is our biggest asset, and without it, we can't go after life's biggest desires. Shelly gives us her insight on how to maximise our energy and vitality through the foods we eat, how we can easily avoid any unnecessary toxins that could set us back, and how we can personalise our own healthy living habits based on the lifestyle we lead.

THE CAVE OF THE HEART: A SLOW FLOW & YOGA NIDRA JOURNEY

Ancient teachings across many traditions describe the heart as the one of the most powerful places we can access. The source of our happiness, how whole we feel in ourselves, the home of healing, inner guidance, and space where we can tap into our highest potential.

Join Aisling for a soulful, expansive journey to the heart, where you will be led through specifically chosen meditation, pranayama (breathwork), and delicious slow flow designed to connect you a little more to where matters most.

You will finish this nourishing afternoon by being led through a heart-centred yoga nidra practice (conscious sleep) as we journey to that space where our inner and outer worlds meet – that place which remains unphased, unchanging, always at peace – the heart.

*Please note that for Yoga Nidra, bolsters and blankets will be provided, but feel free to take along eye pillows or a light piece of material to shield your eyes from light in order to obtain complete relaxation.
