MY MENTAL HEALTH JOURNEY
Ever feel like there's something wrong with you?
Like you're alone?
Or, you're the only one who doesn't seem to have everything figured out?
Over the course of my life, I have felt those feelings many times.
I have sat in my room and cried myself to sleep, as a kid I frequently screamed into a pillow feeling many feelings all at once not knowing what to do with them, and I have woken up on a bathroom floor post-panic attack in my high rise office.
What I have learnt through each of these examples is that speaking to someone about what I'm going through helps. Every single time.
Through sharing our experiences we realise we're not alone, and that there's nothing shameful or wrong about what we're feeling. That we're all just finding our way and doing the very best that we can.
Since sharing a little about my story in the past, I've been blown away by the amount of people who have reached out to me to say they are struggling right now, and so with a view to hopefully continue to normalise mental health and help others meet themselves, their minds and their lives with a little more ease, I've put my journey into one place in the hope that it may help you if you need it.
I've also included further resources below if you need support right now.
